Manage Confidential Lists

Manage Confidential Lists

The following guide will help you as an administrator on Logwise to get started with confidential lists. You will learn how to create confidential lists, add persons and close lists.

1. What is a confidential list?

Confidential lists are used when you have information that does not qualify as inside information but where you want to have a structured process in place to ensure that the individuals who gain access to the information understand that this is sensitive and confidential information. The process for working with confidential lists is very similar to the process for managing subsidiary insider lists. The main difference is in the information communicated to the persons added to the list.
  1. Subsidiary insider list - persons are informed about confidentiality requirements and their obligations according to MAR
  2. Confidential list - persons are only informed about confidentiality requirements
Note - In order to simplify the terminology persons who are added to a confidential list are also denoted "Insiders". This is despite them not having the official obligations of Insiders per MAR.

2. How to create a confidential list?

When you receive inside information from an issuer you are working on behalf of, you need to create and manage a subsidiary insider list. Click on the menu " INSIDER LIST" > "CREATE" or on the button "CREATE PROJECT". Select the option "Does not regard inside information" and click NEX

Add relevant information and click "Create". You may want to make changes to the notification by expanding "Customize email notification to list members".

3. How to add persons to a project?

In Logwise, there are different ways of adding insiders to a project, use one of the below methods.
