Register an account using 2FA via SMS

Users who are part of an organisation requiring Two Factor Authentication (2FA) must confirm their logins using a security code sent by SMS to a mobile phone.  The instructions below provide a step by step overview for setting up your account.

Select a password

On your first login attempt you will be requested to choose a password. It is important to note that your selected password must fulfil the requirements listed on the page.

Click on the green button "Continue with password" to activate your account. Note: you will not be able to activate SMS two factor authentication with Google or Microsoft accounts.

Click on "Log in to your account" to continue.

Sign in the first time

Enter your email adress and the password you selected.

Click on the green "Sign in" button to continue.

Add and verify your mobile phone number

You must provide a mobile phone number to which verification codes can be sent.

Enter your mobile phone number including country code with no spaces i.e +461234567890. Click on Submit to continue. A message containing a one time code will be sent to your mobile phone.

Enter the code you received and click "Submit" to complete account activation.

When logging in you will be presented with the screen below. If you are accessing the Logwise system from a trusted device you can click "Remember this browser" to avoid requiring a sms code on every log in.
